Terry
F. Arnold, AAS, BSEE, BSPA, PA-C
Terry is a native Rochesterian, a graduate
of Edison Technical H.S.
and SUNY at Alfred, NY. His interests involved both electronics and medicine
and he continued his education at Rochester Institute of Technology
earning a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. Following RIT,
he became employed at Eastman Kodak working on various programs
including the development and service engineering support of
the Ektachem Clinical Chemistry Blood Analyzer. His work in this
program involved trade trials and blood analyzer installations
at hospitals and clinics around the world including Canada, Japan
and Singapore. The program has won numerous awards worldwide for technical
improvement and accuracy of hospital clinical laboratories.
While still at Kodak, he followed his clinical interest by becoming a
field paramedic for the Greece Volunteer Ambulance Corp. and finally
Director of Advanced Life Support at Greece. He was also a member of
the Monroe/Livingston Emergency Services Council developing standards
and operating procedures for Emergency Medical Ambulance Services in
the 7 county area in and around Rochester, NY.
In 1990, he returned to college to earn his second B.S., this time as
a Physician Assistant at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania. As a
PA, he has spent 8 years in Emergency Medicine at The Genesee
Hospital, Park Ridge Hospital, and Rochester General Hospital. He has
also spent a number of years working as first assistant at Rochester
General's Dept. of Surgery in both orthopedic surgery and cardiopulmonary
surgery performing open-heart bypass and heart valve
replacement surgery.
One of Terry's greatest pleasures is meeting and treating people to provide improvements to their health and life.
Terry has been married to his wife, Suzanne for 41 years and together
they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren (so far)!
His hobbies include jazz piano, personal computer science, being one
of the musical directors at his church and playing with his grand kids. |
