Christina Sande, FNP-C
Christina was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and initially moved to Rochester to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. She graduated with high honors in 2008 with a BS in Biomedical Science. Pursuing her desire to work in the medical field she completed her Bachelor’s in nursing at the University of Rochester, graduating magna cum laude in 2009. While completing her BSN, Christina obtained research experience working on a project that examined barriers to self-care in adolescents with asthma. In 2013 Christina graduated from the University of Rochester with her Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Christina has worked for many years as an RN in the Kessler Family Burn/Trauma ICU at Strong Memorial Hospital providing care to critically ill trauma, burn, neurosurgery, orthopedic, and general surgery patients. After spending two semesters at AAIR as an NP student, Christina is excited to join the staff full time as an FNP.
Being from Buffalo, Christina is an enthusiastic Bills and Sabres fan. In her personal time she loves skiing, traveling, cooking, and relaxing with family and friends.
